Senior Sales Coordinator

Our client is looking for a highly organized and proactive Senior Sales Coordinator to oversee and streamline the daily operations of their sales team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all sales activities are well-coordinated, documented, and aligned with company goals. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, a natural leader, and a detail-oriented professional with a passion for operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinating and monitoring daily sales activities across the team
  • Ensuring all sales personnel are reporting on their day-to-day activities and maintaining accurate records
  • Managing and tracking sales team leave applications, ensuring adequate coverage and minimal disruption
  • Overseeing and co-ordinating the Sales Team’s work programmes, schedules and task assignments
  • Monitoring the execution of sales plans and ensuring alignment with strategic goals
  • Supporting client onboarding and ensuring consistent follow-up and communication
  • Acting as a liaison between clients and the Sales Team to ensure smooth communication and service delivery
  • Preparing and distributing regular sales reports, dashboards and performance summaries
  • Analysing sales data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Providing insights and recommendations to Sales Leadership based on performance metrics
  • Identifying inefficiencies in sales processes and recommending improvements
  • Mentoring Junior Co-ordinators and Support Staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability
  • Leading or contributing to special projects and cross-functional initiatives

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales coordination or operations role
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in managing teams or coordinating cross-functional work is a plus
  • Familiarity with project management tools
  • Experience in B2B or mass market environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
