We’re accepting applications for the position of Executive Talent Acquisition Lead. The talent acquisition team is dedicated to managing end to end hiring process across the ecosystem. In partnering with executives, the Executive Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for driving both external research and internal talent mapping, to ensure that we the company is hiring talented and diverse individuals across the organization to drive the company’s growth. The incumbent will conduct extensive research to source individuals with the right experience and qualifications and to match them to the provided job descriptions. You will be required to source and attract both active and passive talent using your networks, job portals, social media platforms and advertisements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing strategic guidance, coaching and expectation setting to Executives regarding the talent acquisition process, target companies, market research and related activities
- Creating innovative research strategies to identify and attract the best talent
- Proactively mapping external talent, building talent networks and industry sources to establish a future leadership talent pipeline
- Engaging with, qualifying and attracting high quality talent in the market, screening against competencies and cultural values while effectively representing Vodacom’s vision and values
- Tracking progress and recording data to create an overarching database and talent pools
- Collaborating with the wider Talent Acquisition team to design a knowledge management framework for all research work, driving efficiency and ensuring business continuity
- Leading consistent and comprehensive meetings with Hiring Executives on active searches and future talent pipelines
- Preparing ad hoc reports and presentations on talent insights
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric and relevant tertiary qualification
- At least 5 to 8 years’ experience in executive recruiting
- Experience in research, market mapping, and stakeholder management
- Experienced LinkedIn user, as well as other search engines and talent tools
- Experience executive recruiter
- Proactive and solution- focused
- Excellent communication skills
- Ownership and accountability
- Attention to detail and presentation skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Ability to act with discretion regarding sensitive information
- Strong organisational skills and project management skills
