Recruitment Consultant (Call Centre Recruitment)

This position is based in Cape Town.

We’re accepting applications for a Recruitment Consultant focusing on recruitment within a call centre in Cape Town. A Call Centre Recruitment Consultant is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, vetting and onboarding candidates into call centre roles, ensuring staffing needs are met while maintaining compliance and service quality. They balance recruitment expertise with an understanding of call centre operations, making them critical to workforce efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing high-volume recruitment by identifying and attracting candidates through job boards, social media, referrals and talent pipelines to support current and future business needs
  • Conducting CV reviews, telephone screenings and competency-based interviews
  • Managing employment offers and overseeing onboarding processes
  • Working closely with Call Centre Managers and Workforce Planning to understand staffing requirements and performance expectations
  • Ensuring recruitment processes comply with labour legislation, Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE), Employment Equity (EE) and organisational policies
  • Maintaining recruitment metrics, including time to fill, quality of hire and attrition rates, and providing regular updates to Management
  • Providing an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric or SAQA accredited equivalent
  • Minimum of a B Degree with HR specialisation or SAQA Accredited Equivalent
  • At least 3 to 5 years experience in recruitment industry
  • Experience in dealing with tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong knowledge of call centre operations and workforce requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage high-volume recruitment under tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with SAP HR systems and applicant tracking tools
  • Understanding of South African labor legislation and compliance framework
