The eCommerce Administrator will be responsible for managing the Direct-to-Consumer platform for the company, supporting sales requests, inventory management and driving campaigns to support the growth of the platform. This will include managing the end-to-end order fulfilment process for DTC channels, including processing customer orders, creating purchase orders, and coordinating shipments with warehouses and dealers, and ensuring accurate and timely order processing, including handling ad hoc and manual orders where required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing the end-to-end order fulfilment process for Direct-to-Customer channels, including processing Customer Orders, creating Purchase Orders and co-ordinating shipments with Warehouses and Dealers
- Ensuring accurate and timely order processing, including handling ad hoc and manual orders where required
- Providing Customer Service support by responding to queries via phone and email, resolving order-related issues and ensuring a positive Customer experience
- Co-ordinating logistics for Customer Orders, including obtaining delivery quotes for unpaid shipping, arranging deliveries and ensuring cost-effective solutions
- Submitting logistics quotes for approval and liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure timely decision-making
- Monitoring and managing product pricing by analysing competitor data including via pricing tools, ensuring competitiveness across eCommerce platforms
- Collaborating with Product Managers to align on pricing strategies, promotions and stock availability
- Liaising with Dealers and Suppliers to confirm stock availability, negotiate pricing where applicable and facilitate order fulfilment
- Working closely with logistics partners to track shipments, follow up on delivery timelines and communicate estimated times of arrival to relevant stakeholders and Customers
- Maintaining accurate records of orders, pricing and stock movements to ensure data integrity across systems
- Supporting overall eCommerce operations with administrative tasks and continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and Customer satisfaction
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain, eCommerce, Marketing, or a related field (advantageous)
- At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in an eCommerce, sales administration, or order fulfilment role, preferably within a retail or consumer goods environment
- Strong understanding of DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) operations, including order processing, customer service, and logistics coordination
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms and systems (e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce, Takealot Seller Portal) and/or ERP systems (advantageous)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. data capturing, basic reporting, and tracking)
- Exposure to pricing tools or competitor analysis (e.g. Prysync) is advantageous
