IT Project Administrator

An exciting new position has become available for an IT Project Administrator. The Project Administrator will support the Group D&IT function by assisting the Project Manager and project team in the planning, execution, and completion of IT-related projects. This role involves coordinating project activities, managing schedules, and ensuring that all project documentation is up-to-date and accurate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in developing and maintaining project schedules
  • Co-ordinating project meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes
  • Tracking project progress and updating project plans as required
  • Maintaining project documentation, including contracts, reports and correspondence
  • Ensuring all project documents are properly filed and accessible
  • Preparing and distributing project status reports
  • Acting as a point of contact for Project Team Members and Stakeholders
  • Facilitating communication between Project Team Members
  • Responding to inquiries and providing project information as required
  • Assisting with budget tracking and financial reporting
  • Managing project-related procurement and logistics
  • Performing general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing and scheduling

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project administration or a similar role within an IT environment
  • Experience with project management software (Project, Asana or Trello)
  • Certification in project management (CAPM or PMP)
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and software development processes
  • Must be willing to travel occasionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
