An exciting new position has become available for an IT Project Administrator. The Project Administrator will support the Group D&IT function by assisting the Project Manager and project team in the planning, execution, and completion of IT-related projects. This role involves coordinating project activities, managing schedules, and ensuring that all project documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting in developing and maintaining project schedules
- Co-ordinating project meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes
- Tracking project progress and updating project plans as required
- Maintaining project documentation, including contracts, reports and correspondence
- Ensuring all project documents are properly filed and accessible
- Preparing and distributing project status reports
- Acting as a point of contact for Project Team Members and Stakeholders
- Facilitating communication between Project Team Members
- Responding to inquiries and providing project information as required
- Assisting with budget tracking and financial reporting
- Managing project-related procurement and logistics
- Performing general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing and scheduling
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project administration or a similar role within an IT environment
- Experience with project management software (Project, Asana or Trello)
- Certification in project management (CAPM or PMP)
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and software development processes
- Must be willing to travel occasionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and time management skills
