An exciting new role has become available for a Marketing Data Analyst. This role is critical in analysing marketing performance data and aligning it with business sales results to uncover insights that drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have expertise in digital media reporting, a strong technical background, and the ability to develop marketing dashboards that provide actionable insights. This candidate will work closely with the marketing team and functions as a key supporting role to develop data driven go-to-market strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analysing marketing performance data across multiple channels and correlating it with business sales performance to determine which messaging, platforms, and campaigns deliver the best results
- Developing and maintaining marketing dashboards and automated reporting tools that provide real-time insights
- Working with marketing and sales teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and create data-driven strategies to optimise marketing spend and improve conversion rates
- Extracting and interpreting data from various digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems to assess campaign effectiveness
- Implementing data visualisation solutions and reporting automation using tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or Domo
- Collaborating with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, integration, and accessibility for analysis
- Recommending A/B testing and marketing attribution analysis to refine marketing strategies
- Staying up to date with the latest trends in data analytics, marketing technology, and digital advertising to continuously improve reporting and decision-making
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Data Analytics, Marketing, Computer Science or related
- At least 8 to 10 years experience as a Marketing Data Analyst
- Experience in marketing data analysis, digital performance tracking and BI
- Experience with Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, etc.
- Hands-on experience in dashboard creation and data visualization
- Knowledge of marketing attribution models and customer journey analytics
- Strong understanding of business KPIs, revenue impact analysis, and ROI measurement
- Working with APIs, data warehousing, and marketing automation tools is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex data
