Applications are now open for the position of Project Administrator, to support and coordinate projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications. Key responsibilities will include coordinating project schedules, handling budgets, communicating with stakeholders, coordinating project teams and subcontractors, and ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills, as well as knowledge of the telecommunications industry and its technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting and co-ordinating projects to ensure completion on time, within budget and according to specifications
- Co-ordinating project schedules, managing budgets, communicating with stakeholders and co-ordinating project teams and subcontractors
- Ensuring project deliverables meet defined quality standards
- Creating and managing project timelines and plans
- Preparing, controlling and co-ordinating project budgets and expenditures
- Guiding and co-ordinating internal teams and external subcontractors
- Ensuring efficient communication with all stakeholders, especially the Customer
- Co-ordinating projects within the defined scope and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and specifications
- Monitoring progress, resolving issues and ensuring projects remain on track
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric and a Diploma in Telecoms, Engineering or Business Administration
- A project management certification
- At least 2 years experience in telecommunications project administration
