We’re accepting applications for the position of Advanced Analytics Specialist. The purpose of this position will be to support the analytics team in delivering data-driven CVM initiatives through market research, business viability studies, and product design support. This role contributes to the development of personalized propositions and campaign strategies, assists in project activation, and helps build foundational analytics capabilities to support the team’s strategic objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the execution of the Customer Value Management (CVM) strategy by contributing to analytics initiatives aligned with business goals
- Assisting in translating strategic objectives into actionable data tasks and deliverables
- Participating in team discussions and planning sessions to understand strategic priorities
- Contributing to a culture of customer centricity by aligning analytics work with customer needs and business value
- Assisting in the development and refinement of personalised product strategies through data analysis
- Supporting innovation initiatives by contributing to the testing and adoption of new analytical tools and techniques
- Collaborating with product and marketing teams to ensure analytics supports customer engagement and personalisation
- Providing input into campaign design and targeting strategies based on data insights
- Assisting in maintaining clean, accurate and accessible datasets for analytics use
- Supporting the development and documentation of repeatable analytics processes
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies or data gaps
- Collaborating with data engineering teams to ensure data readiness for analysis
- Conducting exploratory data analysis and generating insights to support commercial and operational decisions
- Assisting in developing predictive models and customer segmentation analyses
- Supporting the preparation and transformation of data for modelling and reporting
- Participating in the development of dashboards and visualisations for internal and external stakeholders
- Applying statistical techniques to evaluate product and campaign performance
- Collaborating with internal teams to understand data requirements and deliver relevant insights
- Presenting findings in a clear and structured format to support decision making
- Supporting external client engagements by preparing data and contributing to presentations
- Fostering positive working relationships across departments to ensure alignment and collaboration
- Assisting in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and campaign performance metrics
- Supporting the development and maintenance of dashboards and regular reports
- Ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting outputs
- Providing timely updates on analytics tasks and deliverables
- Assisting in preparing inputs for business cases and feasibility assessments
- Supporting cost effectiveness by identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with organisational policies related to data usage and project delivery
- Contributing to resource planning by tracking time and effort on analytics initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Business Science, Engineering or a related field
- Honours degree in a relevant discipline preferred
- Foundational experience in analytics, with exposure to CVM or marketing analytics preferred
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a commercially focused analytics or data role within Telecoms, Financial Services, Retail Banking or eCommerce
- Exposure to product development, start-up environments, or innovation teams
- Experience working with personalized marketing technologies and campaign analytics
- Telecoms industry experience is a plus
