We’re recruiting for the role of Technical Delivery Project Manager: Cloud, Infrastructure and Platform Delivery in either Johannesburg or Cape Town. The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution of platform engineering initiatives, ensuring delivery of scalable, secure, and resilient technology platforms aligned to strategic objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing end-to-end execution of platform engineering initiatives, ensuring delivery of scalable, secure and resilient technology platforms aligned with strategic objectives
- Developing and managing project plans, schedules and milestones
- Driving delivery across cloud, infrastructure and security initiatives
- Managing cross-team dependencies and delivery risks
- Acting as the primary delivery interface for stakeholders
- Facilitating governance forums and reporting
- Ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory standards
- Managing capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX) budgets
- Tracking financial performance and supporting cost optimisation
- Maintaining Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) logs
- Managing escalations and implementing risk mitigation measures
- Producing executive reports
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and delivery performance
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in IT or Engineering
- At least 8 to 12 years similar experience
- Experience in cloud platforms, platform engineering, DevOps, stakeholder management and leadership
- PMP/Prince2/Agile certifications preferred
